Pride Superstar® is now in its 8th season and growing strong. This singing competition has showcased amazing artists that you have experienced not only at Pride Houston events but at other events around the greater Houston area.
The top 12 will be competing for thousands of dollars worth in prizes including $1,000 worth of recording time at Grammy Award winning studios and MORE. Must be 18+ to audition.
If interseted in auditioning for this year’s competition then follow these steps:
- Complete a Pride Superstar Application (online). See below for link
- Complete the Pride Houston Agreement & Model Release
- Bring a valid ID to the Audition to verify age
- Come to the Audition prepared to sing 1 – 3 songs Acapella (no music accompaniment)
- Bring your family and friends for support to the Audition

Joey Guerra:
From the Houston Chronicle & 29.95.com. Joey, who has been with Pride Superstar since its creation, is also the Entertainment Director for Pride Houston. He’s also an American Idol blogger and contributor to FOX26.
Tianna Hall:
A Grammy-recognized vocalist and former titleholder of the Miss America Organization. Tianna majored in vocal performance at the University of Houston and worked in musical theatre and opera for many years before focusing on jazz. You can catch her weekly at Sambuca Jazz Cafe & Memorial Wine Cellar. In 2013 she released her 4th album featuing the Mexican City Jazz Trio.
Benjamin Phoenix:
Prodducer for the Roula & Ryan show on 104.1 KRBE and on-air talent, back for his 2nd season as a judge. Also a singer and songwriter.
