A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Prairie View A&M University with a degree in Computer Science. Thasia Madison is a highly skilled Data Analytics & Cloud Computing Specialist with 10 years’ experience in the oil & gas industry, now moving into the financial services industry. Helping the world become a data driven place, analyzing trends and identifying opportunities to make operations more cost and time effective on world-class technical platforms. She has led numerous technical projects driving action plans from initiation through successful execution.

In the LGBTQ+ community, Thasia is the President and Board Chair of Pride Houston as well as Outreach Co-Director. As Outreach Director, Thasia has the privilege of educating the public on socioeconomic, political, cultural, intellectual contributions, and intersectionality of the LGBTQ+ community; providing Scholarships to LGBTQ+ Youth; building bridges & partnerships between Pride Houston and the community at large; focusing a light on the Accessibility needs of the community; and of course recruitment, training and retention of the hardworking and dedicated Pride Volunteers. A daily reminder that Pride is more than just a Parade and Festival. 

She is also a longtime proud member of Lesbians of Color, Inc. (LOC) in Houston, TX. Thasia is also an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. She serves as the Technology Coordinator for the Southern Region. She participates as a Lab Leader in various Youth STEM programs as a firm believer that the younger generation will build our future and needs tools and role models to help equip them at an early age.

Outside of her day job and community leadership positions, Thasia is a Champion of the United Way and March of Dimes organizations and when she’s able to steal a few free fun moments she indulges herself in Pokémon Go, PlayStation 4, anything Harry Potter, and Netflix.
